Well, it only took me a year and a bit....D-day for KBA finally arrived. We eagerly went down to Darlington to collect her from Willow Triumph - so eagerly, in fact, that we didn't notice we had the wrong address for the garage and had to phone up for directions
The green wedgey thing herself was waiting patiently outside for us, nicely polished and shiny.

So she was finally home and working, and just needed a tax disc to be fully legal - so off I went into Durham with my Aunty Margaret (who happened to be visiting) in tow to get one. Leaving behind the MOT certificate >![]()
A small fuelling problem was sorted out by my Uncle Jim and Simon in the meantime, leaving us to change the fuel sender and that was about it. Unfortunately this unpleasant task requires your long-suffering wedge pilot to adopt this position:

It wasn't as bad as it looks and she now has a new one in, we're just waiting on a friendly electrician to crimp on a new connector for the wiring. (Oh, and we eventually got her a tax disc too!)
And the final result of all my hard work, money and despair? Here you go, my TR7 on the public road for the first time since 1988 ![]()

Catch up with my trials and tribulations as I get used to life with my TR7, a 1980 Drophead Coupe in the wonderful shade of Triton Green metallic! Here I shall describe the steep learning curve I will no doubt be climbing whilst getting her on the road and then, more importantly, keeping her there... Credits must go to my boyfriend Simon for all the wonderful pics I get to post here!
