Ally Hickman RIP 1980-2007

I’m afraid I have to be the bearer of bad news…

Ally was rushed to hospital yesterday morning. I was woken by her making a strange noise and when I checked she was having serious problems with her breathing and heart. The ambulance arrived fairly quickly and the paramedics did what they could before taking her in. Once there the doctors tried their hardest for several hours but ultimately they could not save her.

The exact cause is unknown at present and there is going to have to be a post mortem this morning. I’ll try to remember to update this blog post with any information when I know more.

Rest in Peace Ally my love… I will get KBA back on the road for you!

Oh no, I am so very sorry to read this, and offer my sincere condolences, Simon.

I know Ally through SOL, where we used to chat about cars (I have a Capri) and of course dogs.

I would like to crosspost your announcement to sighthoundsonline, if I may? Many people on there will miss Ally greatly I know :-(

Catch up with my trials and tribulations as I get used to life with my TR7, a 1980 Drophead Coupe in the wonderful shade of Triton Green metallic! Here I shall describe the steep learning curve I will no doubt be climbing whilst getting her on the road and then, more importantly, keeping her there... Credits must go to my boyfriend Simon for all the wonderful pics I get to post here!
