Front Brakes

Nice Saturday morning job,Yeah right

[More:]

Removed old hubs from discs cleaned and repacked bearings, fitting Rimmers big vented disc kit, fitted discs no problem, had to modify the back plates, cut the ‘lipped’ flange off. Then had to reshape the outer flange,ie. beat the crap out of it till it was flat, then REPAINT them because all my lovely paint job was damaged by now . Then fitted disc/hubs,then calipers.Had to grind down retainer spring clips for them to fit Next problem was the brake pipe they supplied had 2 male ends i needed a male and female  Off to work and get my brake flaring tool and make new pipe.
Fitted wheels to adjust bearings and they rub on caliper 88| >:XX it!
Need 3mm spacers to clear, trawling the net to find, next time rear brakes, including conversion to 4 speed cylinders and 2 nipples ohh err
