The rebuild started with me ordering the following parts, 1 set of standard piston rings, bigend bearing shells standard, main bearing shells standard, thrust washer bearings standard and a complete set of top and bottom end gaskets.
The engine strip down started with a good de greasing / oiling. As can be seen the block is absolutly clarted in oil.
I have BLOWN my engine, that was my thoughts after finding a puddle of oil under the car
MY WEDGE
I have owned this car since Sept 2001, ownership of the car came to me in an unusual way as I had not considered owning a wedge.
The restoration started with a thorough inspection of the car, it turned out not surprisingly to be a wee bit worse than I initially thought.
This is about my 1980 TR7 fhc Canley built, finished in Brooklands Green.
