H is for Hellfire

H pipe

H is in fact for "H" pipe.... If I ever spent £50 on something worth doing... this is it! I bought this stainless steel section new from Rimmers to replace the center 2 silencers on my 4 box 'quiet' exhaust system.

Pipes Dropped

Courtesy of Canavans Alloys and Performance ( www.canavansalloys.com ) I now have the ability to set off car alarms from a distance and scare women and children :>! But seriously, on a FHC V8, this is the system to have. Its still nice & quiet at idle and light throttle - but blip the throttle and the exhaust has a real bark now. Wonderfully tuneful :>>

On the pit ramps

In 4 years of owning a TR7/8, I've never driven with the radio on. Doubt that'll ever happen now!

...and to think you were thinking of selling it a couple of months ago! Certainly makes people look to see what's coming. A friend at work told me 'when I heard the noise I looked into the car park to see what exotic sports car had come in - but it was only Malcolm in his TR7!!'.

The 'back seat' issue is on hold for a few years! Yes... the Porker nearly had me... but it will never sound like this! John
