You may have noticed I've been a bit quiet just recently? Real life has given me a big bite on the bottom over the last few months (won't go into here in TR7 blog!), but now I'm back
So what's the plan??
The plan is still (as it was for THIS year) to hillclimb the V8 and prepare the 2L for touring and maybe shows. But for a start the V8 FHC is off to Jigsaw racing for a check-up and MOT. Why go there? Well I normally service & maintain the car myself but like to get it professionally checked over once in a while, mainly for safety as it is primarily a track car. In the past I have gone to S&S Preparations who I'd trust with any of my cars, but Lancashire is a long drive in a track car!
I've heard good things about Jigsaw and Mark Field (proprietor). Mark has raced an evil 200bhp+ TR7 sprint in the past and the company has prepared and maintained a number of other Triumph racing & rally cars, including TR7s. With any luck he can give me a few tips to get mine more competitive ![]()
And the next event? Club Triumph's Donnington Park trackday on the 3rd December. Really looking forward to this one as it has been far too long (back in June at the Castle Combe track action day).

Hope to see some of you there
