Just got around to fitting the new (well NOS) PDV - brake proportioning valve I bought off SnS at Stoneleigh. What a difference! Braking performance is much improved as the majority off the effort now goes to the 4-pot vented Ambassador/Princess brakes at the front, rather than than to lock a rear drum ![]()
The offending 30 year old PDV:

Off to SantaPod tomorrow then, so watch this space for a report...
Before and After. See - in real life it DOES improve the car ![]()

Sunday the 12th was Stoneleigh Triumph Show and spares day. Always a good event, and one that's traditionally the first Triumph event of the new year. Went down in RAP with Stephen (4) and parked in the Triumph parking hangar where there was a nice collection of cars, despite the rain and the cold (well it IS February in England!).
We had a good chat and took some pictures. Also bought a new/old stock PCV (brake bias valve) for the Thing, halogen headlamps for RAP, an easy-bleed kit and a few other bits 'n pieces.
Here is a link to the pictures if you fancy a look: Stoneleigh 2006. Keep an eye out for the yellow TR7 Victory ![]()

Stephen's not really into cars so he was delighted to find someone selling die-cast Thomas the tank engine models at the show ![]()
