Hello everyone, welcome to my first wedgelog....
I'm the proud owner of 2 wedges firstly an '81 DHC, I bought this a couple of years ago, it's in pretty good nick having covered only 18,000 miles with 2 previous owners. Over the last year or so I've set about upgrading various mechanical bit's and bobs to generally improve the performance and overall handling, sacrilege I hear you say ! but let's face it the performance of a TR7 2 litre can be a bit of a disappointment...engine mods include S&S stage 2 head and cam, uprated SU's K&N's, extractor manifold and system & electric fan...Suspension mods include, Moss needle roller bearings, orange S&S polybushes all-round, KYB shox on every corner and uprated spring's, new 6X14 minilite rep's with new tyres, princess 4 pot brakes .....
Here’s a few piccies...
Secondly, I've a '79 FHC V8, I got this around a year ago, mainly to have a little fun and possibly to join Malcolm and others at various club trackdays etc. It's been rebuilt be the previous owner but is a little rough in places if you look closely enough. However, overall the car is very sound and has been converted properly. It runs a re-built 3.5 V8 with a webber 500 carb, and sounds fantastic exhaling through a single pipe system. I've some stage 3 heads and a 3.9 bottom end ready to go into it when I have the time, very difficult with 2 kids I have to say.
Here’s a few piccies...

that's all for now....bye
Welcome to Stricky's Triumph TR7 DHC & TR7 V8 FHC blog. I've had a few TR7's in the past, but now a little older and obviously NOT any wiser, I've had the opportunity to re-acquaint myself once again with Triumph's last and greatest unsung automotive hero ....... ;0)
